This made me smile.

The crew at Framestore NY flexes their comedic muscle in this spot for Snickers, Focus Group.

Photoshop CS5 sneak peek!

want want want.

Photoshop CS5 is going to have ‘content-aware filling’ I can’t wait for this… I’m just imaging what happens if you try to remove someones face with the content around it… or like in the video just remove the whole woman and bench. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The breakdown.

A single guy from Spain has rocked the architecture visualization industry with this work he presented. Over a course of a year or two he collected his previous projects and made this amazing animated feature, http://www.vimeo.com/7809605.

Awesome!

the dance

leave a comment »

Hey guys, so I wanted to share a bit of what I’m up to at the moment.  I’m working at a game company as their ‘mocap specialist’.  Although I don’t really know much about mocap except that I’ve used the files.  So this video shows a clip of data we actually captured in a dance studio in Brooklyn.  The clip I’ve posted is the failure I had made through the many steps of getting the motion data off the actor and into the program.  Since then I’ve fixed this.  Its all because of gimbal lock. wtf!

Fun facts about the motion capture suit.  it costs $60,000 for the suit. I’ve talked to mocap studios in the area that said the cheapest they’d go on a mocap session for someone is around $1,000 a day, though usually $1,500 and upwards. crazy

cheers.
