Nadia Troeman’s evolving identity design

Grad student, Nadia Troeman designed a conceptual  logo for an enrollment program made up of ‘logos’ designed by students of Central St. Martins. The little logos are somehow generated by the students’ unique cultural associations, ideally with the hope of better expressing the individual within the complex tidlewave of globalization. Since the student body (and therefore, the school) is constantly changing, the logo is dynamic and allowed to continuously evolve. I admit that I don’t totally get how these student logos are conceived, but the overarching idea is pretty great and its hypothetical applications are beautiful. As far as practicality is concerned, maybe the underlying radial grid could serve as the main mark? Something as trivial as budget for business cards shouldn’t destroy something so original, right?
